Cornerstone Youth Leadership - Disciple Program

Disciples are a vital aspect of the ministry here at Carson-Simpson Farm. Your tasks, no matter how insignificant you may see them, truly contribute to the daily running of the camp program and to the campers' lives.
The Cornerstone Youth Leadership Program is looking for young people who are interested in serving God through the camping ministry. During the summer you will experience a variety of program areas and service projects. You are required to attend a daily Bible study and will be expected to show growth throughout the summer, both in character and in your spiritual walk.
In order to insure that we have a group of young people who want to be in the program, there are some rules that will be strictly held to. There will be an interview following the application process to determine the desire of each youth to grow and stretch in this program. We require no less than a three week commitment and success is usually greater the more weeks attended.
You will receive a T-shirt, lunch everyday, program materials and supervision. There are extended hours available if you need to arrive earlier than 9 AM and stay later than 4 PM. You must complete your application yourself. Applications or initial calls initiated by your parent or guardian will not be accepted. There is a mandatory overnight orientation. You are required to attend this orientation in order to take part in the Disciple program. If you complete the application process and interview, you will receive information regarding the details of the training. The deadline for application is April 1, 2012.

This program is not an extension of the Day Camp program; it is a training ground for leadership, spiritual growth and character building. The cost of the Disciple Program is $100.00 per week
Extended hours are available for $35.00 for AM or PM, $50.00 for both
The program will include Service Projects as a group. This is part of the requirement to be a Disciple. There may also be an optional overnight trip at your cost. The Disciple Program is a 3 year program only.
