Summer Camp

Carson-Simpson Farm specializes in camping experiences for Pre-school through Sixth grade. We offer outdoor opportunities for day and overnight camping where children will experience God's creativity in nature, form new friendships, participate in recreational activities, arts and crafts, drama and music, swimming, and Bible study, all led by a loving and committed staff.

PEACE Ministries overnight campers stay in the seasonal dormitory on bunkbeds. Family-style meals are served in the dining room located in the same building. The site offers five covered pavilions, lodge, pool complex, Chapel-in-the-woods, prayer walk, children's prayer garden, outpost area, two basketball and volleyball courts, softball field, two GaGa courts, and two playgrounds. Children will get to experience the many wooded trails and large open fields this 60+ acre site offers.

Carson-Simpson Farm is located just north of Philadelphia two miles from the Willow Grove exit (#343) of the Pennsylvania E-W Turnpike. Our Directions & Map page has further information on how to get to the camp.

Physical and Mental health Expectations
Carson-Simpson Farm assumes that Parents or Guardians represent to the camp that the camper is in sound physical and mental health and fully able to participate in all Camp activities without the need of individual or specialized attention or medical regimen, and that the camper’s heath will not impinge or impact negatively on other campers or the camp program. If a camper is not able to meet this criteria and the parent or guardian still desires to have their child attend Carson-Simpson Farm, the parent and child must set up an interview with the Program Manager. Each child will be considered on an individual basis based on his/her ability to participate in the program and to discuss additional support (which the camp does not provide.)

Scholarship Information
The camping program of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference provides limited funding for children and youth whose families have need of financial assistance. Camperships are awarded based on the availability of funds. Camper families who cannot afford the full fee should first contact their local United Methodist Church about scholarship support. If the camper’s family and local church cannot cover the event cost, the family should fill out the Scholarship Request section of the Summer Camp Registration Form. A letter explaining the circumstances of the need must accompany request for scholarship.
