Worship Fest: Picking Up Creation Fest’s Legacy

As part of the Christian community, we were sad to hear the Creation Festival will not be happening this year. Creation Fest has been a tradition among many Christian groups for more than four decades. According to their website, Creation has had a profound impact over the years. It created a space for 115,000 people to choose to follow Jesus as their Savior. More than 16,000 people were baptised. Approximately 2.1 million people have gathered to worship God at Creation Fest since 1979. What an inspiring legacy!

We don’t know what was behind the decision to cancel this year, but we know it must have been a tough one to make. But as the large, far-reaching festival shutters, there is opportunity for smaller communities to take up the call of bringing people together in worship.

We started this journey in the Fall of 2022 by hosting Worship Fest. This event continues the legacy of creating a space for people to worship our Creator and to share the love of Jesus with our community. More than 600 people came to Carson Simpson Farm to experience the gospel through worship, spoken word, visual artists, and community fellowship.

This year, we hope to attract an even larger crowd as we reach into communities in Hatboro, Philadelphia, and the surrounding areas. Some artists who were scheduled to perform at Creation Fest will be performing at Worship Fest, including Diomer, Aable, and Rick Harmoney. Other names in the line up include:

  • Ripe Worship

  • E. Daniels

  • City Reach Worship

  • Davisville Church

  • Rashid Saint-Fleur

  • Everso

  • Eves

  • Leah Wrenne

  • Wildfre

  • Olivia Weatherbe

  • Sergine

  • AVG

  • Greg Snow

We are excited to offer Christians and non-Christians in the area an alternative to Creation Fest, even on a smaller scale, because we know there is power in people coming together to express the love of God and our love for Him. Please help us spread the word about this event so we can continue the legacy of impacting our communities for Christ.
