I like science and I play trumpet. I am in a school band. Also, I like spending time being active , playing various sports and games. I enjoy playing video games and watching good shows and movies.

Why are you excited to work at camp this summer?
I used to be a camper and I loved the Carson Simpson Camp. I believe working at this camp will be as fun as when I was a camper. I like the variety of activities this camp offers which will make my work fun. Also, I would like to get an experience as a counselor.

What’s an interesting fact about you?
My Mom is from Poland so I am half Polish. I have been in Poland many times to visit my family . I can speak and understand basic Polish language. Another fact about me is that I am almost a Freshman at La Salle College High School and I am looking forward to my first year there.

What do you do when you are not at camp?
When I am not at camp I attend Messiah University and am currently taking an online Chemistry course. As a ballet and lyrical teacher for Messiah's dance ministry I also work on choreographing dance routines for our fall and spring performances.

What are your hobbies/interests?
I enjoy dancing, writing, singing, origami, makeup, and occasionally knitting. Interests I have are in that of the sciences, and literature.

Why are you excited to work at camp this summer?
I am excited to work at camp this summer because I genuinely love the overall environment centered around Christ and the opportunity to work with amazing campers and staff!

An interesting fact about myself is that I collect snow globes.

What do you do when you’re not at camp?
I head to the gym or go home. From there I watch some of my favorite shows or movies and walk my dog.

What are your hobbies/interests?
I love playing soccer and the piano. I am also interested in technology, as I try to learn anything about computers.

Why are you excited to work at camp this summer?
I am excited to work at camp because I get to interact with so many people, including kids, and share similar interests about faith or hobbies.

I can play the piano with my eyes closed.

COUNSELOR

What do you do when you’re not at camp?
I usually spend time with friends! Sundays I go to church and volunteer helping with the preschool class. I also do bridal hair on weekends if I have someone.

What are your hobbies/interests?
I love hiking or just going on walks! Reading devotionals and journaling. I love to practice my styling skills on either a model or a mannequin head. Personally my favorite style is half up half down. (With a braid or twist)

Why are you excited to work at camp this summer?
I genuinely can’t wait to create meaningful bonds with staff members and campers! It’s a beautiful thing how the Lord wants to use me for his goodness and graciousness so campers and staff can see more of who Jesus is. My heart is already so full of love that I can’t wait to share that. Since Christ is my friend and walks WITH me, I want to be a resemblance of that for all. I want to use my spiritual gifts to help others create good fruit in their lives. I grew up going to CSF and always remember my summers being the best thing ever, and here I am my first year as a counselor!

What is an interesting fact about you?
I do like singing but I get very nervous to sing in front of others. So I just sing my heart out in the car lol

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

What do you do when you’re not at camp?
Teach! I spend my non-summer months teaching 7th and 8th grade science students.

What are your hobbies/interests?
I love hiking. God has given us amazing scenery and critters that remind us of his creativity and power.

Why are you excited to work at camp this summer?
I'm excited to work closely with staff and campers this summer just as Jesus worked and served his Disciples. Jesus tells us to "Love one another, just as I have loved you". I'm excited to live life with everyone at camp this summer, and to serve them as He has served me. His love for me fosters my desire to serve and love others.

I have 11 fingers! Okay, no I don't... but that would have been really cool, wouldn't it?

I am a biomedical engineering major at West Chester University!

I have played music for over 10 years and am in the concert band at my school! I also love arts and crafts, especially when I'm with friends.

I love watching the kids grow together and form life-long friendships. The staff is welcoming and full of love!

When I am not at camp, I am a student. I recently graduated from Hatboro-Horsham High School and will be a freshman at Messiah University this coming fall majoring in Digital Media.

I am excited to work at camp this summer because I get to work with amazing campers and staff and get to grow in my leadership skills. Also, it's a lot of fun!

Hang out with friends. Go to the mall. Ride my bike. Hang out with the family. Play video games. Try and go find new places like malls I’ve never been to or a beach that I’ve never been to before.

Why are you excited to work at camp this summer?
I’m excited to work at the camp again this summer being last year I felt that I had a good experience there and everyone was kind and it was fun to be there all around.

I was thinking about starting a clothing brand with my uncle or by my self since I always saw people making clothing and my uncle brining up making a clothing brand and me helping him out since me being the younger generation I would know more about what kids wear in this time.

Why are you excited to work at camp this summer?
This is my first time being a camp counselor! I have heard so many good things about working at camps and I am excited to experience it!

ASSISTANT POOL MANAGER

What do you do when you’re not at camp?
Catch up on sleep. I jest -- I love spending time with my two boys, and when time (rarely) allows, I try to catch up on my reading list which always seems to be growing.

What are your hobbies/interests?
I love reading, drawing, painting, gardening, board games/game nights, and yoga. Now that my kids are bit older and actually sleep through the night, I have been getting back into playing video games (currently replaying Kingdom Hearts, and trying to finish Zelda: Breath of the Wild), and creative writing whenever my muse decides to be active. I especially love to crochet, and to date I've made multiple blankets, loveys, hats, and cute baby things for my family, niblings, friends, and my boys. I also enjoy playing the piano and the guitar.

Why are you excited to work at camp this summer?
I remember going to summer camp when I was younger and the impact that those experiences had on me as well as the bonds I formed with other campers and the counselors. While I don't remember everything in great detail, all memories are positive and always bring forth a smile and the occaisional chuckle. Additionally, I used to hear about Carson Simpson quite often when I worked at Willow Grove UMC, so my interest in wanting to learn more and be a part of it kept growing. Overall, I want to be able to provide a great experience for the campers joining us at CSF.

What’s an interesting fact about you?
There are a couple, but one that keeps popping to the forefront is that I had the chance to be a part of a professional singing group through PA Ren Faire. Sadly, lack of transportation cut that dream short. Still love singing nonetheless, even if my 4 year old tells me to stop singing every so often (silly turkey).

OUTDOOR ADVENTURE

What do you do when you’re not at camp?
I'm a graduating senior at Temple University, and will be starting full-time employment in the fall.

What are your hobbies/interests?
Hockey, Soccer, Snowboarding, Video Games.

Why are you excited to work at camp this summer?
The great relationships from previous years, as well as the enjoyment from being in my role.

What do you do when you’re not at camp?
Most of the time I'm in State College, studying journalism at Penn State, but I love to travel, spend time with friends and family, watch sports, attend concerts and binge various tv shows.

What are your hobbies/interests?
I love to watch, write and talk about sports, meet new people, travel and spend time with loved ones, whether it be friends or family. I enjoy a good party and having fun with those around me

Why are you excited to work at camp?
I'm excited to meet new staff members and campers and help immerse them in the fun camp culture at CSF.

I used to work at Walt Disney World!

POOL MANAGER

What do you do when you’re not at camp?
Lots!! I teach at the Upper Moreland Middle School and coach at the Upper Moreland High School throughout the year. I volunteer with Davisville Church, working with 4th and 5th graders, and volunteering in Kensington. I am a mom to my 3 children and have been blessed with being a "Mom" to their spouses. I am a Grammy to my favorite little boys, and. I am very lucky to have a supportive husband who supports me.

What are your hobbies/interests?
I enjoy gardening, Scrapbooking, playing the piano and guitar, biking, swimming, golfing, watching and caring for the birds in my backyard and traveling as everyone in my family lives everywhere except PA.

Why are you excited to work at camp this summer?
I am looking forward to seeing familiar faces both with staff and of course the kids. It is my 3rd year so I feel as if I will have more connections with everyone this year. It'll be nice to see the growth with everyone, especially with myself.

What’s an interesting fact about you?
I have biked to the shore and back, flown a single wing plane-(scary)- gone skydiving-(crazy)-and I use to ski before kids. I would like to zip line over trees one day and ski in Colorado next winter if my knees hold out.

This is my 5th year on summer staff, and before that I grew up here as a camper. For the past 2 years I’ve been able to stay with the same group of campers which has been an absolute blast! I love watching them grow and get more curious about who Jesus is, and it’s been one of the best experiences of my life to be their counselor!

What do you do when you’re not at camp?
I am the Associate Pastor of the Foundry Church in Wallingford, PA. I also work as a school portrait photographer with Barksdale School Portraits.

What are your hobbies/interests?
I am an Actor, and photographer. I also collect Hot Wheels and hats. I am big fan of Fantasy Fiction novels, my favorite author at the moment is Brandon Sanderson. I am also reading the Green Rider series by Kristen Britain. I am a life long Trekkie and dabble in the world of Star Wars when they have a good story to tell. In short, I love stories.

Why are you excited to work at camp this summer?
Last year I was a camp counselor, and it turned out to be the best job I ever had. Now that I know the camp and have some experience I am looking forward to speaking into the lives of the kids and using the talents God has given me to challenge them and help them grow.

I am a transplant from the Great state of South Carolina where I learned to drink my tea sweet and my cornbread dry. I am fluent in English, Redneck, and Sarcasm (not necessarily in that order).
