Good Stuff, Greater Impact
If you’re looking for a way to support local youth while also finding great deals, Good Stuff Thrift is a hidden gem worth knowing about.
Good Stuff Thrift is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit thrift store where every purchase makes a difference. All proceeds go directly to charities that serve children and youth in our local community. With four locations, Huntingdon Valley (their newest and largest store, and the closest to camp), Buckingham and Doylestown (both boutique-style shops), and Fairless Hills (another large-format store), there are plenty of chances to stop in and explore. Inventory changes daily, so each visit is a little treasure hunt, with quality items at affordable prices.
Through their storefronts, Good Stuff Thrift provides clothing, household goods, and accessories to the community. But what really makes them special is what happens behind the scenes: they donate their proceeds to more than a dozen local charities and organizations. Carson Simpson Farm is grateful to be one of the ministries they support. Their partnership helps us provide camp experiences for families who may not otherwise be able to afford them, offer special on-site activities, host low-cost and free community events, and, most importantly, continue creating a safe, welcoming place for youth to grow, explore, and have fun outdoors.
How You Can Help
Supporting Good Stuff Thrift is simple, and it starts with items you may already be planning to donate.
Donate gently used items directly at any store location. Take a photo when you drop off and send it to us so we can track and celebrate our community’s impact.
Use one of their donation sheds to drop off all types of donations. Located in Doylestown at Covenant Church (4000 Route 202), Lenape Valley Foundation (500 North West Street), and in Southampton at Davisville Church (325 Street Rd).
Use our on-site donation box at camp. We have a large drop box right at the entrance, making it easy to give, especially if you already have donation bags riding around in your trunk waiting for a stop. Don't drive by camp often? Check out their other 6 drop box locations.
Schedule furniture pickups. Larger items can often be picked up directly, so you don’t have to worry about transporting them.
Home clean-out services, estate cleanout, decluttering, downsizing, and bereavement cleanout services are available from Good Stuff Thrift
An Even Bigger Impact: Host a Neighborhood Donation Drive
One of the most effective ways to support Good Stuff Thrift is by hosting a donation drive right from your home. Because outdoor drop boxes sometimes experience theft, neighborhood drives with direct pickup help ensure more donated goods turn into real support for local youth programs.
The best part? It’s easy. Good Stuff Thrift provides pre-made flyers, coordinates delivery and pickup of collection boxes, and walks you through the process. Your role is simply to spread the word to neighbors, friends, and family.
If you’re interested in hosting a drive, reach out to us, and we’ll help you get started.
We’re incredibly thankful for Good Stuff Thrift and their continued partnership in supporting youth and strengthening our community. Every bag donated and every purchase made truly makes a difference. Check out more about them and what they do here: goodstuffthrift.org
